Unit Goals

Mira Mesa High School is a very diverse school located in San Diego, California. Not only is this school ethnically diverse but also academically and in extracurricular activities. Centered almost and surrounded by shops and restaurants add to the concern of school cleanliness. This leads to my goals. I chose the goals I did because they are ideal and achievable through organization, hard work, and team work. Not only would it be working for ourselves but also for our school and community.

Cadet

• An AFJROTC Mira Mesa HS AFJROTC and Scripps Ranch HS AFJROTC Field Day. Our sister schools will have a fun day of competition and student bonding. An AFJROTC Mira Mesa HS AFJROTC and Scripps Ranch HS AFJROTC Field Day. Our sister schools will have a fun day of competition and student bonding.
• Three more field trips than last year to motivate cadets that there's more in this leadership course than meets the eye.

School

• Increase student enrollment by ten more cadets to help keep this program running and get them to experience something new.
• A campus clean up once a month to help our school become a healthier and cleaner place of education, also improving school appearance.

Community

• Help out at soup kitchens during the holiday season. To do something not for ourselves but to think of others.
• Like a campus clean up, three community clean ups at either local public schools and our community parks thus improving community appearance also.
